    Welcome Ed! Since your favorite animals are chickens, you should fit in here real well! How many and what breeds do you have? I'll give you a little inside info about us BYC people, we LOVE chicken pictures!

    And yes, there are a lot of us here who have our chickens as pets! But those who keep them as livestock are great chicken owners and take excellent care of their birds as well. We all respect each other's views about our chickens whether they be pets, livestock or somewhere in between.

    This is a great community with a wealth of information and helpful people. You'll love it here!
