I'm not entirely sure that I introduced myself when I first signed up 3 yrs ago so I'll do it now since I haven't been here in quite some time.

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

No, I am not new to chickens, I got my first ones 4 yrs ago. At that time I had 3 BRs, 3 RIRs. 1 of the RIR's turned out to be a roo and I'm not allowed to have roo's in town so off he went to a farm. Then over the years I have had SLW bantams, an Old English bantam and a ...hmm don't remember her breed now but she was just plain white bantam. All are gone now except the 3 BRs and my two newest babies, a Mille Fleur d'Uccle bantam and a Porcelin d'Uccle bantam.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

5 chickens and 3 ducks

(3) What breeds do you have?

3 BRs, 2 bantam d'Uccles, 2 khaki campbell ducks and a cayuga duck

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

searched for information on chickens and the forum came up in the search, after reading the info I was after, I decided to join.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I am a big crafter and I love to bake.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I have been married to my husband for 26 yrs, we have 2 adult children. Our other pets are 6 indoor cats, one very large indoor dog, a white dove, a turtle and 2 ferrets. Quite the zoo for being in town! I am currently a medicinal herbalist but I was a chef at one point and also a nurse in the past.

Thanks for doing an intro (and for coming back)! Since you like to bake, come on over to the Home Baker's thread (the link to it is at the bottom of my post).

Wow, Thank you all for the welcomes. I am hoping that maybe I can learn a little more about the birds I am so crazy over and maybe help one or two people along the way. If anyone has any herb questions either about chickens and herbs or people and herbs, don't hesitate to message me!
