Yes! Again, live and learn. When sun goes down and they head to the coop, we close them in both sides. A "coop inside a coop". We let them free range for about 3-4 hours before sun goes down. Until then, there is an outside "run" we move around the yard. But they are well protected now. I feel like I let them down before with the damn raccoon and fox. Fox was during the DAY! We keep close eye out for the hawks, too. But they have cover for that mostly. Never thought I'd be so protective of chickens. LOL. I love these little ladies. They're smarter than most people (as you all know) give them credit for.View attachment 2091490
They do look like australorps but one of them has a lot of black in the comb!
I hope you can protect the rest from predators. We do have some predator proof articles in the learning center

I thought the gentlemen who replied to me replied with all of the breeds it could be. Unless thats everything he raises. I'm new, sorry, never belonged to a forum before. Hate being the newbie.....
