1. Yes I am new to raising chickens, I was always around them as a child, but I wasn't in charge of there care. I got my chicks around 6 weeks ago, they will soon be 8 weeks old.

3. I have a white crested black polish, and a all black crested polish. I still have no idea the sex of the polish, I am hoping it is a hen and rooster. And I have a barred rock rooster, the barred rock is a little older then the polish.

4. My sister told me about backyard chickens

5. Besides taking care of and enjoying my chickens, I have 2 dogs. A Rat Terrier, and a Black and Tan hound.

No im not new to chickens.I was 4 yeas old when i got my first one.I have black gaints,silver duckwing OE bantams,BB red bantams,RIRS,wyandottes, EE's,a jersy gaint,and white cochins.Every year i hatch almost 100 eggs.
