Hi Perchie, I can't seem to get smilies to work for me anymore.

Today is my birthday - 69 - yikes!! You know Tara has put a lot of work into Chants with very small-low combs just about totally frostbite free. She doesn't baby her birds.

Haven't OD ed yet saving some ice cream for tomorrow. Got a little db. chocolate cake and realized I don't care for cake anymore. Maybe someone should take my pulse. I like my ice cream melty, goes down easier and takes up less room as a fluid. How have you been feeling since you started your new regimen?

U have several trail cameras and 3 dogs, 2 of which are pitbulls and all of them love the chickens lol. So maybe that will help! Yes it's a great location though. I was fortunate to find good work in the area and excited to make it my home! I love the snow and ice fishing though so I'm already waiting on winter =P

LOL Pitbulls when they are socialized right are AWESOME dogs...... sadly I live in Idiot land With regard to that breed...

There are no bad dogs only bad owners.... sigh.

My place is near the border so I am hoping to have about four dogs for vairous jobs.... Livestock guarding, People deterrent, compaion, and Rodent duty. Cats dont live long up here. But the main concern besides coyotes are neighbor dogs or feral dogs... City people come up here and think its just fine to let their dogs roam.

The other defense I need is Fence I have eighteen acres but Like I said.... City people....

My house sits on the most level part of my property and I have checked it out on a mapping program I have and I can fence about four acres enough for the horse, goats and a flock of poultry. Cant have a livestock guardian dog without a fence....

but thats me not you .....

I meant to say "I" lol. Yeah pitbulls are great, I've had them as farm dogs ever since I was born and we have never had an issue with one! I bet if you replaced all the "bad" pitbulls with golden retrievers, the idiots that make pitbulls "bad" would do the same thing to golden retrievers lol. Yeah a dog fence would be quite a project for 18 acres!

I am pretty good at reading typeo......

My land is too rugged at 5 dollars a linear foot for Tpost and Field fence... Some posts would have t be set in Granite...

But I can do some cross fencing just for livestock about two to three acres worth. I work alone so it will take some time...

Thanks! It's nice to actually be able to ask my questions to people that may have an answer! I'm the only person I know that is into birds so I usually don't have anyone to bounce ideas off of when I need to!
