I have been raising English Bulldogs longer than I have chickens but I absolutely Love the rewards from my coop. I have raised Bulldogs for 10+ years now. I have 2, my male Dooski and my female Graci. I have only been raising chickens for 2 years and I have 27 total birds. We have 3 roosters: Yellow bantam: Toby, White fur legged bantam: Cowboy, and Seabring Gold: Carl. I posted my show off pics on today's thread on fb. :) I have 1 bronze breasted turkey named Tom and we just introduced 6 new Eastern Turkey's to our coop along with 2 Cochin bantam chicks. We also have 16 hens, 8 Rhode Island Red hens, 3 Dominique hens, 3 Americana hens, and a 2 small bantam hens one white, one varied colored. I also have a decent sized garden, which my chickens love to eat from. They are our pets and we love them dearly.

Sounds like you have a wonderful flock and fun dogs! Chickens are so enjoyable to keep and they do love those gardens!

Enjoy all your critter adventures and welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC! Glad you decided to join our flock. I was born in Hot Springs, AR, and my grandparents lived there for many years. I have loads of fond childhood memories from all the time I spent visiting them and still love the Hot Springs area. I also love English Bulldogs. They are such funny, friendly, and affectionate dogs. You have a nice mixed flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about turkeys (never had any), but if you have any questions regarding your turkeys, you can post them on our turkey section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/20/turkeys, and the members who frequent that site should be able to answer your questions. Good luck with your flock.
