My names Seth residing in easter nc bout an hour from obx. I have 3 rhode island reds 3 leg horns and am working on picking up some easter Eggers and Australorps. Unless there are better choice to go with my ladies. I have 4 kids who love helping with the chickens and I'm trying to learn as much from here to keep the flock happy and healthy

Hi :welcome Seth

Glad you could join us here! Those are some lovely breeds you have there, good luck with adding to your flock. Great to hear the kids are enjoying helping with them, it sure is fun to get the whole family involved.

Wishing you the very best of luck for the future and enjoy your time here on BYC :frow

Thank you all I'm excited we have had them for a few months now wanted to test the waters, now the leg horns are laying and it adds to the excitement.im excited to get involved in learning as much on here and trying to be active

Welcome to BYC. I agree with Redsox re: "Integrations thread "Look but don't touch," method. The breeds you want to add are good choices.

Thank you we are working with a local who has some that are close to the age of ours and the plan is to put the new girls in a chicken tractor we have for the weekend then see about putting them in monday morning
