Hi all! I just arrived to Las Cruces myself, but chickens are NOT allowed in the city limits. There is a clause for members of FFA being allowed two chickens, but for the rest of us it apparently is not allowed. I am tempted to get a few anyways, but trying to be a law abiding new neighbor! I cannot believe yappy dogs are allowed, but chickens are not. Also, my lot is a third of an acre. Very frustrating!!

Welcome to fellow New Mexicans! I grew up in New Mexico myself, and I miss the desert SO MUCH. I'm in Austin now, and just can't get used to all this suspicious GREEN...
