Hello! I’m in Wooster as well and new to this website and backyard chickens. They are a lot of fun to watch and are a nice little hobby. I got laying hens back in late April so I’ve only had then 5 months or so. I’m trying to figure out what I’ll be doing with them over winter as they already make a big mess of the yard in our open-floor mobile coop. How do you keep your flock?Just dropping a line as a new member.
We have 8 hens and 8 female pullets (no roosters as we live inside city limits, much to my husband's sadness).
We've kept backyard chickens since last summer and really enjoy the chickens and their personalities.
I wanted to make an account bc we're always reading past threads when an issue pops up, so maybe one day we will need to ask a more specific question...
Also, if anyone is from Wooster, Oh...we would love to hear from you if you're into getting to know others in the area.
