Hello All,
My name is Liddy and I am a new member to BYC as well as being a relatively new chicken mother.
I inherited two girls from a friend who moved to the city I had been wanting to keep chickens for a while.
My girls are Rhode Island Reds and their names are Babs and Ginger-named by my boy after two characters in his favourite movie "Chicken Run".
I have quickly become very fond of my girls and are planning to extend the family.
I discovered this website today when I was searching for information on chickens and molting. I have posted a thread in emergencies if anyone can give me some advice.
I did not realise this was an American inspired site. I am writing from Australia. So hello from down under.
