Hello Pastor,
Just received your inquiry. The city codes allow do for chickens that are housed and kept in clean sanitary conditions, believe me I checked into that possibility. That being said, there are multiple HOA communities in White House, and that would be the most likely reason you were told no chickens. Many of them have a one/two dog or one/two cat policy. If you are in a rural area or are without community restrictions, then it should be no problem for you to invest in a few laying hens as "pets with benefits."
