Hi everybody just joined the site though I've been using it for probably the last year preparing. As of today I have 8 7 week old chickens 3 Rhode Island Red 3 bar rocks and 2 red Rangers unfortunately all my Rirs are starting to look like roosters and 2 of them do this weird fight dance with each other. But other than that everything seems to be going will. Looking forward to patticapate.[IMG]

Your birds look lovely. They grow up so fast, don't they?

Hi and welcome to BYC - nice to have you onboard with us.

The Learning Centre is a great resource, even for experienced chicken keepers - loads of info on anything chicken. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center

Joining your state thread may be useful as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - just type the name of your state in the search box.

    All the best
