I live in the Greenville Maine area.

Right now my head is spinning a bit , with chicken and coop thoughts.

I am a carpenter so of course I want to build a beautiful coop ! I am also a fishing guide in the summer and so I am about to work 7 days a week. Thus I think I might buy a small coop to get me started . I only need about 4 hens but want to build a coop Comfortable for 6 at least. Just to be on the safe side , maybe someone needs to find a chicken a good home or some scenario were my flock grows for a little while.

I am going to try to be ready with at least a temporary coop by the end of May. I know I am starting late and I hope maybe I can find some mature hens . I did see 5 hens in Craigslist. I am sure I will have a Lot of questions.

Eventually I will have some Pics to post of my journey.

Hello and welcome to our community.

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre (even if you have lots of experience)
https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center, and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread

All the best
