Good morning/afternoon/evening,
My husband and I are having our 2nd go 'round with the yard birds. We have a couple rescues which we picked up from a friend's property after they were abandoned by the previous owner. I was able to get an ID of the breeds and it turns out that Reba (named after Reba McEntire) is a red sex link and Debbie (named after Debbie Harry of Blondie) is a game mix. While they are more work than the leghorns we had previously (MIL's dog killed them before egg laying began), at least they were already laying when we got them.
I look forward to hearing advice, learning more and getting to know others.
Kathy
