Hi,
I’ve been keeping chickens for several years. I’ve had numerous breeds and at one time kept over 70.
Getting older and feeling the strain of all that coop cleaning, I’m now down to just 7! One rooster and his girls. All are silkied Serama. They are an absolute joy.
I used to keep Pekins which often wandered around the garden but decided Serama were much easier as they have a huge run which is fully enclosed meaning we can get away to the caravan and not worry about locking the chooks away for the night.
