please help i dont know what to do, my mother call duck is sitting on 14 eggs, one has half hatched, but the side of egg is gone not the top. she is still under the mumma duck, will it get suffocated? also some eggs feel cold, they used to be warm, also if i can hear one chirping but there is no crack in the shell for air should i make one?

Mumma duck will know what's best. Some ducklings and chicken can take awhile to find the strength to get out of the shell.

I know its hard to not interfere but thats the best option.

ok the one that hatched she rejected and pushed it out, i have put it inside under a heat lamp, how far away should i have the heat lamp? i don't want it to get too hot, it can't stand yet. there are 4 more ducklings who have a penny sized opening so they can breath but they are still absorbing the yoke and membranes i think. will she suffocate them if she sits on them while partly hatched? but at the same time if she doesn't will they die from the cold as they are outside in the coup but on hey.

She will not suffocate them as they hatch.

A duck and chicken will stay permanently on the nest for the last few days of incubation.

Yes if she doesn't stay on them they will chill and take longer to hatch and could get shrink wrapped by their membranes as they dry out too quickly.
