Hi, my name is Kendall and Im from South Dakota. I currently have 7 hens and 1 rooster. I had been taking care of them (feeding and watering) for two months while my friend moved and decided to give me her chickens. So I literally know little about them other than 4 are white, 2 are speckled and there is one brown one plus the rooster. Unfortunately we aren't allowed to keep the rooster in town here so I'm sure he will have to get culled.

I'm super excited to have chickens. I find they bring me a bit of peace watching them, just taking care of them grounds me more than any of my other hobbies. For some reason they even make gardening fun! Plus, the eggs... YUM!!

I have already found lots of helpful information to aid me. I'm sure I'll have tons of questions to ask in the near future so thank you for allowing me to be a part of your community! Thank you for your time!
