Hello all!

I, too, have a mixed flock, and my favorite is my grand dame, Honey, who is also a Buff Orpington. She was one of my first hens, is the lone survivor of a mink attack that killed all of her coop mates and is a total grape addict. She runs to the glass back door and pecks for treats!

Your group sounds beautiful. I like all the colors you get with multiple breeds, and yours should have some of everything.

Has your son volunteered for any other school projects that might impact your life? lol.

Hello, Heather, and welcome to BYC!. :frow Glad you joined.
Have you looked into pinless peepers for the bullies? They might help.
Unfortunately, chickens do not respond to equal attention like children do. They have a pecking order that is followed. The most docile of the flock is generally the lowest ranking member.
