Hell everyone I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Kandra from Humptulips WA
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?have had chickens for a couple years now but trying no luck with Turkeys. I had 4 midget whites and only 1 has survived. I also have a batch of 4 wk old chicks
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I have 12 and my father in law has 16 ( he just got 10 chicks the same time I did) they all house together and free range a few hours a day
(3) What breeds do you have? Not too sure what chicks are. Got them at local tractor supply and my lone Turkey poult is a midget white
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Eggs and entertainment. Love to sit and watch them
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Quilting, crocheting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share
My husband and I are pilot escort drivers. We have cats also. Our children are grown and gone so our pets (cats, chickens, turkey)are our kids now.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
my cousin told me about BYC and I need help with my baby poult. I love reading everyone's experiences also I have read BYC for awhile now and figured it is time to join.
