New to raising chickens and I am so happy I started on this adventure. I have enjoyed every aspect since this journey began and hope to continue to raise healthy and happy chickens. I have had a "weird" obsession with chickens while traveling to different countries on cruises. I can't specifically state why they appeal to me so much but I am really enjoying raising my girls.
1) Currently raising 8 hens purchased at about a week old and now they are 19 weeks old from Tractor Supply.
2) Four Asian Blacks (I was told this is a hybrid bird). Two Rhode Island Reds and Two Longhorns.
3) My first egg came last week! Just one girl is laying and I am so excited!
