You'll need to reduce their numbers. They'll be stressing out the pullets when the hormones kick in.

We plan on giveaway some and eating the rest. At what age do you normally butcher? My MIL said she butchers at about 4 months, is this true?

Butcher when they become a royal pain in the... or when they've reached a nice table weight, whichever comes first!
