Hello All!

I'm a retired policeman living in north central Ohio with my redheaded angel of a wife. We bought our place in 2019, after years of suburban living, out in the country a little bit; it's only two acres, with a 20' by 60' barn and a two-story detached garage, but we absolutely love it because there's nothing but farm fields on three sides (ours is a corner lot). We intend to introduce chickens to our place, mainly as a source for eggs but also because our grandkids love animals.

I had chickens twenty-five years ago but I'm sure I'll have questions along the way. Anyway, thanks for allowing me to join this community.
