Hello Everyone! I am new and want to introduce myself. My name is Sandy and I am new to raising chickens.
I currently am in the process of trying to hatch 12 eggs. I got the eggs from a local farm and just set them yesterday. I was having a hard time maintaining 100 degrees but I think I got it now, blanket over the brooder seemed to work.
The eggs I have are from a mix flock of wyandottes, Americanas, Easter eggers, legbars, marans, leghorns, orphingtons and Welsummer so we will see if I can get any to hatch!
