Hi Everyone;
My name is Colleen, and I live in southern BC.
I am new to chickens, only had them a few weeks. They were supposed to be my BF chickens, but somehow I spend more time with them, i take them their treats, and they watch for me
I collect the eggs, and they've bonded with me!!
We have 5 Americauna mix..don't know what the mix part is, the previous owner didn't say.There's a rooster and 5 hens. They will be 2 in July.
I found your site through Google when i was looking for treat ideas. The previous owner spoiled these guys, they're almost like pets, a couple like to be held.
When i'm not looking after BF's chickens, i like to sew, read, cook, scrapbook, camping, and photography.
We also have 3 cats and a Papillon dog that's 10 months old...very bratty.
We recently moved from the city to 7 acres in the country, so I am learning to be a farm girl. I am starting a dressmaking business here, something I did for many years back in the city.
That's the basics...I'm sure I'll share more along the way.
