Im new here. Im not too new to chickens though. I started with a hen and 4 chicks and their father. Over time i have lost and gained chickens. At this moment i have 20 free range chickens and 3 chicks that i adopted last night from Wal-Mart. (Someone left them in a cart inside shoeboxes.) I have a wide variety of chickens. From silky mixed to rhode island red mixed. Glad to have joined this site. It seems to be a treasure trove of useful information!

Poor babies, glad you took them in. I've heard several times of chickens being dumped at a Walmart store - what is that all about?
