Hey everyone glad to be here, I've owned gamefowl before but only for two years. They were some of the smartest and most beautiful birds i have ever seen. Back to my situation though, I have three hens now and no cock cause my neighbors and all and a six week old chick. So I have two bantams one game the other an egg layer. The egg layer is very lethargic and looks at me side ways when I hold her. She had been getting to some medicated chick feed but I don't know what's wrong, her craw seems fine but I have her isolated with a lil garlic in her water. My game hens are fine and so is the chick, they share a big run

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Sorry to hear you have a poorly hen :hugs There could be many things that could be wrong with your hen. Has she laid recently? Have you checked her for an egg being stuck? Is her crop ok? Any smell from it or it being hard and compact? Have you wormed her recently? Have you checked her for mites? These are just some of things to check for first, being the most obvious. I would suggest you post in the emergencies injuries and cures section too here is the link https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures
Give as much detail as you can in your question as to her symptoms and how long she has been like this.

Wishing you the very best of luck and I hope she is well soon. :frow
