As the title says, thank you.
I have owned chickens since 2017, when I got by first batch of six ISA Brown pullets, and since then I have added guinea fowl and bantams, as well as one Sapphire Gem.
My six ISA Browns are going into their third year, and just molted this past Autumn.
My three guinea fowl, one male and two female, are heading into their second year. One of the guinea hens laid and egg that my broody ISA Brown sat on for several weeks until it was ready to hatch. Due to my worrying, fidgety nature, little Spook probably came out a day early, but he's fine and fluffy now.
Just this Spring, I added six bantams -- five of which are cockerels, unfortunately -- and one Sapphire Gem pullet to my flock. One Porcelain D'Uccle bantam, one Mille-feuille D'Uccle bantam, two Gold Dutch bantams, one Silver Dutch bantam, and one Gold Sebright bantam are all of the little ones.
I enjoy raising chickens and guineas very much, and I now want to get ducks.
I will probably mostly come to this site to ask for help, but if I see that someone has a problem that I may be able to help with, I will try to do so.
Thanks again.
Sapphire Sebright
