I have a serious problem my cockeral is on deaths door and I need your help please yesterday he collopsed I check Jim over and he is covered in mites parasites we regularly clean the co-op.
I covered him last night in mite powder and said a prayer. This morning hrs still alive just, I've brought him in doors and placed in a box. If fed him wet pellets in water and sugar water by syringe as he won't eat.
I will give him Apple cidervinager on the next feed...my question is how often how much and what else can I do he is so emaciated bless him bit I'm NNOT GIVING UP ON HIM PLEASE HELP....

First job is you need eradicate these mite and lice as soon as possible. The parasites will be sucking blood from him and he is probably anaemic from this. Try tempting him with some scrambled or hard boiled chopped egg. The eggs have all the building blocks of life and are great source of nourishment. Tuna also works well. Water him as often as you can, dehydration can kill very quickly. You might try some electrolytes in his water too. Also some vitamins and minerals too. Have you checked is coop? If he is riddled with mites and lice the coop is likely to be too and could start affecting any other birds you have.
