Not yet. I have an idea of turning an insulated metal panel shed into a coop but am not sure if that would be feasible. We are still in the planning stages but I am super excited for our first group of chicks.

Mainly heat during the summer, but I am researching ventilation. One step at a time, I will have my flock in no time. .

Surely an entire steel building is different than just having a steel roof, but we have a steel roof. Except, that there's no issue with heat due to that, it's the south wall that is. So I bought vine bushes that'll eventually cover that wall up. We have a digital exhaust fan to circulate the air so the worst it can get in there is the temp outside. If it's 90 outside, it's going to be 90 in there, and we run the fan just to at least move the air for them.
