No, they are not pea combed. OE's are "dubbed". In the natural state, they are a single comb. Males are dubbed, females are not.
Yes, there are hatcheries that carry them, but they are just that hatchery birds. There are lots of OE breeders out there that would be more than happy to assist you.

I am sure you can find them. Don't know about the american's. Most are of the standard variety. Pardon my mistake, thought you were talking about OE bantams.
 
AGB are hard to find. I'd be willing to bet that any hatchery that carries them won't look anything like the pic. Thats one awesome bird. I don't know of anyone that has them. I did hear of someone in OK, but thats all the info I have.
