You know what it may be a BB Red. I got to looking and it might just be that. My friend had some phoneix bantams and they looked just like that, too. It may just be the juvenile coloring.

Well the color and gender was right. I didn't know you could sex the BBR at day old from color though, I used to do that with crele though. Can you post pics of how to do it with BBR? I'm sure I'll feel like an idiot later but it would be educational.

The creel is beautiful. I have a creel rooster and he is such a pet. I am glad to see what my fellow is going to look like at maturity. I have never liked the color of a Dominique and that is what I thought at four months . The other colors started coming in and now he is just beautiful with that very errect carriage . I am no expert and do not know the fine details of the breed but this guy is as affectionate as a dog.
