Hello! and welcome to the OEGB thread.

I read about it, alot. Then I looked at the You Tube videos. The ones in Spanish were the most helpful. Some are real good and some aren't. I also practice on my culls first. I even did one that had died. I know that sounds cruel, but they don't bleed. Its not easy.

That would be fine typically balck dots surrounded by a lighter color, the best reference would be the back feathers of a BB or silver duckwing hen. it is a fault commonly found in the Primary flight feathers of wheaton hens as well as a few other varieties this is often in the black areas of the wing primary. For BB red you can also see a good reference in the top tail feather of the but as a fault will extend beyon the top tail feather to other tail feathers and is a brown stippling.
Hope that helps.

Got it. Thanks.

Here is a little white hen I picked up at the OE Nationals in Shawnee at the first of the month. I got her, a white cock (that I am not sure I am in love with yet, he may end up getting replaced sooner than later) and a trio of blacks. I will have to try and get pictures of the others sometime here.

Is Cleo an OEGB or a Dutch Bantam? She came from a "mystery bantam" bin at the feedstore and is just the sweetest little dumpling in thhe world. I love her to death!

Sorry its sideways...I don't know how to flip it.

This
is the other chick I got from the mystery bin when I got Cleo. "Sister" is a bit bigger and not quite as friendly as Cleo. Her comb is also a bit larger than Cleo's. She is the small on in the foreground of the picture. Any input on breeds would be appreciated.
