Technically I've been on here for a few day but I just wanted to introduce myself. I am a chicken lover and have many bird babies on my farm along with goats, ducks, guineas, dogs, cats, and kids of the human sorts. I have been keeping chickens for ten years and currently have 45 fowl. I have had many experiences and I want to help anyone I can along with learning more from all of you. You've all been so kind and I appreciate it. I hope we can all be friends and at the very least appreciate chickens.

Wow lots of experience, thats why im here. 1 year exp. 4 chickens. Had'nt had chickens for 40yrs. Now i have adult frizzle with 3 2 week old chicks doing great in half of my chicken house, from donated eggs. She brooded for 3.5 months so i gave up and got eggs. Other half house 2 more brooding hens i got them eggs quicker they have been sitting for 12 days. Religiously. One full size hen alone in very large contained yard. Problem i have 4 teenager hens, 2 3 weeks old, 2 4 weeks old. They are in a cage indoors I have a city chicken coop that I have out on lawn I have been putting them out during day, they love it. Are the 4 weekers ok to put locked up in city coop, inside other chicken yard to integrate. Keeping 3 weekers inside fir at least another week. Im affraid to upset 2 brooders in house.
