(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I have had chickens approx 5 years now....love them!!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have approx 55 chickens of all types. They seem to be the highlight of most of my days...I'm hooked!!!
(3) What breeds do you have? Crested, Bannies, Cochins, Sussex, all types....I love them all!!!
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I found this site from a link to another site ....and so glad I did...I love all of your comments and have enjoyed reading your posts...it's nice to be in the company of other chickens lovers!!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I raise imported Argentine LLamas, English Angora Rabbits, Texas Longhorn cattle & Scottish Highland Cattle.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have four great pyrenenes guard dogs, two drop off dogs that are terrific and one wonderful barn cat named MsKitty...I am also a professional photographer and I am learning to spin fibers. I also raise milk goats and love to make soap & cheese. I love canning and cooking in my "spare time"..haha
