(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, I am new to chickens and we started our flock in March.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 16 in our first batch, 8 in the second batch and are getting several more this week.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Rhode Island Reds, Golden Laced Wyandottes, Australorps, Sexlinks and the new babies will be Bar Rock, Silver Laced Wyandottes and Buff Orphintons.

Crafts, hiking, nature, anything outside.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm a mother of five, grams to four. I own Boston Terriers and a blue front amazon parrot . I'm a city gal that works with a state board of nursing, but I'm not a nurse. I am raising my chickens with my hot farmer boyfriend
I love being on his tractor, working in the garden, watching our wild flowers grow and spending time with our families. He assure me he will get me out on the combine this fall...I beg to differ
