Debbie says Hello BYC
Debbie is our Wild Red Jungle Fowl. She appeared in our yard months ago and has decided to stick with us ever since. We’ve been feeding her and even made her a makeshift coop. She has just started laying. She is quite talkative and a sweetie with an attitude. She loves eye gazing and mirrors. We love BYC as we’ve been reading it a lot lately to answer some our chicken questions! Like the huge scare I had before I knew that hens faces turn red when laying. Thank you BYC for assuring me this is normal and answering our questions. Cheap Coop additions or Suggestions appreciated : )

Thank you! We named her after Little Debbie’s snacks. I don’t know how to like photos on here yet, but your ducks are so adorable!! I love the snow pictures. I used to have ducks when I was little and they were my favorite!

I was teased about Little Debbie snacks as they were born the same year as I was, 1960. After the kids found out Debbie means "Little Bee," then the teasing changed to something more tolerable. Kids!
