Hello Tavros! For my flock in Wyoming, I just covered most of their run in clear heavy-duty plastic to keep the wind off them. Their coop door was open to the run 24/7 and they did fine.

Welcome to BYC! Some of the best things you can do is to make sure the coop is draft free but very well ventilated if you can, with nice wide roost bars for them to be able to sit on and cover their feet.
