I have been browsing (like a chicken) this site for so long. It was time to become a member. My family decided that we wanted to get a small flock of chickens this past spring. Cackle Hatchery is a big name in our area and they were running a special. I showed up and told them lady what we wanted and I brought home 5 different chicks. I dont remember all of the breeds, but they all seem to live well together. I build them a coop out of pallets. I got ideas from this website for the design. I think I spent less than $50 on it, but it big and sturdy and heavy. I will post pics as soon as I can so you all can see how purty they are.
