My name is Ava Bablitz, I have grown up with backyard chickens. I currently have 15 chickens and 7 on the way! I have Black copper marans, cochins, frizzles, Easter eggers, a lavender orphington, a swedish flower hen, a dorking, and a andalusian. All of my girls (and one boy) have names. when I am not with my chickens I am competitively riding horses. I have been reading posts on this website for a while, reading about what to do with a chickens' problems. I am exited to be able to ask actually ask questions.

I have competed in Western classes. Took third in the State in bareback equitation and Western pleasure when I was 9. I also competed in an open class riding side saddle! Won the class but it was a small B rated show. Still fun!
