Hey all, chiming in as a new member. I'm now the owner of a pair of Texas A&M quail. These are my first birds. I wanted to start small in case I run a foul.

I've been wanting to be more self sufficient for sometime but the conveniences of modern life kept interfering. The lock down in march and april really woke me up. I hope to start raising my quail for eggs and meat. Now, I know 2 birds ain't gonna feed a family of 4 but I plan on getting more.

I haven't hatched anything yet but I've gotten an incubator for when the eggs come forth.

I found this board through the google search, and find forums to be dome of the best resources for learning a new skill or subject matter. So, I'm here.

Looking forward to learning from ya'll and expanding into other poultry as my knowledge and experience grow.

Welcome! I’d love to see a picture of your tiny quails
