Hello BYC New Friends

My name is Alicia and I have been a chicken mommy for a few years now. I currently have 5 full grown ladies, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Golden Lace Wyandottes and 1 mystery breed that is blond and looks like she has some Buff in her. They are all very entertaining and my 2 dogs and 4 cats cohabitate with them just fine. I’m getting a whole bunch of new chicks in August. I wanted to join BYC now because I’m hoping to get some advice on introducing them to my current flock and on making a safe run so that the new girls are protected and safe when they are young. I’m looking forward to learning more about these great pets!
