Hello, BYC! New member intro!

If you think it's going to accommodate 10 chickens because that's what the package said I'm afraid you're in for a very unpleasant reality check. Chickens require 3.5 - 4 square feet of floor space per bird and that does not include nest boxes. The run should offer a bare minimum of 10 but 15 square feet per bird is much better for them. There is no kit coop that I'm aware of that offers that.
:frow Welcome @aarendg I am so glad you found us. There is so much information here. Check out the home page for featured articles and ideas for building chicken coops. I would save the small coop you bought to be used for a broody cage, a hospital cage, a grow out cage, etc. I would place it where everybody can see everyone else, so integration goes a little easier. Whatever you don't find answers in the articles section, start a new thread, so those who have knowledge can help to advise you. Also remember there is no single best way to do anything. You must always do what is best for you, your family, your flock and of course your farm. I look forward to seeing you around.
