Hello! Can anyone describe your experiences in raising Cinnamon Queen chickens?

Hi there, we are getting chickens this spring and after reading things on forums and online are considering a couple different breeds. We want chickens that are good egg-layers, friendly and not too loud for the neighbors-also does well in the heat.
We're very interested in Cinnamon Queen breed but have read that they are possibly more prone to prolapse.
Has anyone had a lot of that issue with them?
The other breed we are considering are Cochin chickens.
Thank you!

We first got chickens in 2016, and after having numerous breeds, one of our favorites have been Isa browns. They are called many different names such as red sex links, golden comets, and more. All of the ones we have owned have been super friendly and wonderful layers we never had a problem with them.

Thanks, that's helpful!

Hi there!
From what I understand, they are a type of sex link(crossbreed) (sexable at hatch so all the chicks you buy can be hens, there's no hard and fast breeds that are friendlier or quieter. there are breeds that are more likely to be whatever but all chickens are individuals.
I had 15 of them about 8 years ago, can't say they were quiet or friendly but they were nosey little buggers.
They are prolific layers, however, breeds that have been bred to produce more eggs earlier in life can be very prone to reproductive/egg issues and it's not uncommon for a hen to reach her prime laying and then slack off in about 2 years,
No chicken lays as much as and statistics you read "this breed lays_____ a year!" take 30-40 eggs off that number, I don't know who writes those statistics.
BUT if you get them from a better quality hatchery, the chances of issues goes down, I'd reccomend Murray McMurray or Cackle hatchery for chicks if you'd like cinnamon queens or any other breeds. :]
