I've been confused since I read the Dominique was supposed to have a white spot on their heads when she was a chick!

And again when I read that there is only one kind!

That is her though! She weighs a ton and has that round body.

Do you think the barred one is a Dominique or can she be an Asian black? She is very small and very brave and friendly.

She is a Dom. Asian blacks are not barred and have single combs.

Thank you again! I couldn't find anything much on them. But the Hoover hatchery website said the Asian black was a slow growing bird and she was a tiny baby! Still very small with all the others.

I just saw something that said Australorps beak fades to white and I think she might have that. Her profile is the most curved out of all the girls.

Definitely not an Orp. Not a Comet either. Looks like some sort of hatchery mix.

Yeah, nothing stuck out in their list of chicken possibilities, but also, didn't know much to stick out!
