Great to have you join. BYC has many, many dog people on here. We have show, field, obedience, search & rescue, agility, therapy dog people, judges such as yourself and those folks that just plain love dogs.

I used to breed and show Cockers from late '60's to the '80's. Had my own grooming shop at 19, wrote for breed magazines, and worked as a "flunky," for a busy dog handler.

I tend to think dog people apply their particular expertise to to whatever animals they wish to keep.
