Hello chicken friends

Hello,I am a first time chicken owner and I must say I am in love! They make me so happy! I purchased 6 pullets on Mother’s Day 2021 and 2 days later went back for 5 more. I was instantly hooked I have since learned that 2 of them are indeed roosters. 3 white girls that look like leghorns,
1 tan girl that is a buff Orpington,
1 gold laced Wyandotte,
1 beautiful mystery girl with iridescent black feathers with touches of brown in her neck area,
3 Easter Egger girls, and finally
2 Easter Eggers boys

I absolutely love hanging out with them everyday! They are the highlight of day! Always so glad to see me and they all love to cuddle. Except the roosters. But even they are nice.
Excellent mental support pets!!!

I found this site during the first few days of adopting my girls. Since my girls were an impulse buy, I had to quickly learn how to properly care for them and this site has been amazing! Such amazing responses and everyone is so helpful!!! Very excited to be a member!

Hello there! I'm with ya, we love our girls...and boy who is a stinky teenager. But we're working on that! They are so funny and therapeutic. Even though they are my 10 yr old daughter's latest endeavor, I find myself making excuses to go visit them through the day.
