I am new to chickens and I joined this because I can't find the answer to a specific behavior any where. Why are my chickens grabbing on to another'd head feathers from the front and pulling on them??? Signed, KardasHENs

Hi and from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. How old? How many? There are many reason for feather picking. Overcrowding. boredom, lack of exercise, too few feeding or watering stations, high-calorie low-fiber feed, bright lights, excessive heat without proper ventiliation, nutritional imbalance and external parasities. If they do draw blood Blue Kote will help with that.
