Thanks for the welcome! I've been reading a lot here already, even before I joined. I've learned a lot from others' problems though I'm sure to make mistakes of my own I hope they are fewer for being here.
It's REALLY hot here (last week was up you 106) which hasn't been such a huge deal with the chicks because they need it to be warm (I ice their water, do electrolytes for about 6 hours during the hottest part of the day, have a fan for them to hang out under and a frozen bottle with a washcloth over it they like to hang out by sometimes and there is a thermometer on their cage which is outside but completely out of the sun all day.) but it's my biggest concern for them when they're out of the "brooder" and in their permanent area because it's still going to be hot.
