Hi! I am new here and a soon-to-be first time chicken farmer. We have 16 beautiful pullet chicks coming in one month. Yes,16! My fiance ordered them and said that was the minimal order, eek! I'm a bit overwhelmed, but my main concern is they have enough room, are healthy and stay safe. We plan on keeping them indoors until they are old enough to stay outside. The coop is built, only needs slight modification and the run will hopefully start coming together this weekend. He seems to have an excellent, Fort Knox type plan. I'm so glad to find this forum, so exciting reading posts and great feedback from everyone. Wish all avenues in life were this kind and supportive LOL. So excited to get going and learning more & more!
Thanks everyone.
Thanks everyone.
