(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We are brand new to chickens. Our chicks arrived last week and are doing well in their brooder. We have 4 more inbound this week.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 3 with 4 more inbound. Only one of five survived the shipping on the first run. I am sure it sounds silly but I didn’t want her to be lonely so I got a couple of local chics to keep her company.

(3) What breeds do you have?
My wife was specifically interested in English Dorkings so we have one (right now) Dorking and 4 more Dorkings Inbound. We also have 2 Rhodebar Chics.

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Internet searching

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We are historical reenactors we do moistly 16th century with a private group and also volunteer at Jamestown.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
We have 2 cats (indoor) 3 German Shepherds and are days away from 7 chickens. We live in Raleigh, NC.
